Privacy Policy for Softnin PDF Reader

Softnin PDF Reader (“the app”) is an Android app for reading and marking up PDF files. It is developed by Softnin (softnin.com). This policy explains what the app does with your information.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. The app has no sign-up, no user accounts, and no analytics or advertising tools. It does not request internet access, so it cannot send your files or data anywhere.

Your PDF files

When you open a PDF, the app reads it on your device only to show it on screen. The file is not uploaded, copied to our servers, or shared with anyone.

Marks you draw and files you save

Pen and highlighter marks you draw exist only on your device while the app is open. If you choose to save, the app creates a new PDF in the location you select on your device. We do not receive a copy.

Permissions

• The app does not ask for storage, camera, microphone, contacts or location permissions.
• It opens and saves files only through Android’s file picker, so it can access only the files you choose.

Third parties

The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking code, and we do not sell or share any data. If you download the app from Google Play, Google may collect information about the installation under Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not control that.

Children’s privacy

Because the app collects no personal information, it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
